Aiki Jutsu Club Gain Lottery Funding
The committee of Nakama Aiki Jutsu (companions
of Aiki Jutsu) Felixstowe decided in 2008 to improve their
training facilities. Firstly address the safety aspect of
training by purchasing Judo mats. Secondly increase the number
of qualified instructors. The rational is to accommodate the
growing number of interested students. The club applied for
a lottery Grant in order to meet costs of this venture. In
December 2008 Nakama Aiki Jutsu received an Awards For All
Lottery Grant for the purpose of the following:
- Purchase of Judo mats (forty two
British Judo mats 2 x 1 metre which meet British/EU specs).

(instructor) training from the B.A.B (British Aikido Board)

for three senior grades.
- First Aid training (First Aid At
